1. The Forum Rules have undergone some minor changes and updates.  Please take the time to read them; it will only take a couple of minutes of your time. By doing so, you lessen the chance of incurring the wrath of the moderation team or making yourself look foolish to other members.

90% of users posting adverts in the Sales forums need to be reminded to read the rules as their posts are wrong.  This is unnecessarily time-consuming and will no longer happen - if your advert doesn't follow the Sales Rules it will be deleted and you'll have to start all over again.

  3. Dear members,

Our membership (like our country) consists of people from all walks of life; different in far more ways than can be listed here and each with a different view based on their experience of life - regardless of their colour, religion or cultural heritage. Every single person in the UK has been born of mixed race – we are a multi-coloured and multi-cultural country.

As many of you are aware there are a handful of individuals amongst this membership that persist in making provocative, inflammatory, racist and otherwise offensive comments. This has been happening across the forum to a certain degree but is most especially prevalent in the Adult section.

The moderation team has tried to stay on top of this, however unfortunately because of the ‘offensive’ nature of much of its content we don’t monitor the Adult section quite as much as perhaps we should. As a result much of this behaviour has gone unnoticed unless it has been reported to us. While the team always intended to take a "light touch" approach to the Adult section it would seem that some people aren’t quite adult enough to be left unmonitored after all.

This behaviour is, and always has been against Forum Rules as well as the specific stipulations of the Adults forum and it will no longer be tolerated. We feel it's time to draw a line in the sand and as such from this point onward offenders will receive an immediate and permanent ban from the forum.

In order for us to achieve our goal of restoring the forum to the friendly and tolerant place it once was, we ask that ALL members be mindful of the content they post and help us to stop unacceptable behaviour by using the 'Report' tool at the bottom of any offending post - the results of which can be seen only by Admin/Moderators.

You should all receive a copy of this message by PM.

I know this is standard advice and practise, but, in your experience, how do these compare to the Leshiy classic, in the shoulder mate..?

For me far better to shoulder mainly due to the RTI having more adjustment for scope positioning
There are compromises although not as limited as the Leshiy platform
I find the extended butt suited me better for length of pull also grip choice is on par for swapping out
but the trigger is a completely different setup very crisp 2 stage once adjusted correctly
Would definitely recommend carbon bottle balances the setup far better I couldn’t get away with the standard one

Without barging in on your question to Leshiy, for my 2 pennies the RTI's aren't really designed for shouldering (IMHO) although you can quite comfortably with practice. More for prone, assisted or bench rest style shooting. The after market shoulder rests look interesting for a more comfortable fit. One man's choice may not be the next ones preference. I prefer the Leshiy as I'm not a big guy.

There's a new compact Prophet available that might be a good choice if you want something lighter and more portable :thumb:

They're a completely different animal to my Leshiy but I'd not part with either of them. The ideal combo for me ;)

    :thumb: Thank you mate.

If there was a RFD local to me, that stocked them, I would be on it, hence the question, to someone that has both. :D

Mate, appreciate you barging in, it helps having different opinions. :thumb:
IMO, the Leshiy is kind of the same, not a tailored fit, but a generic fit. One size kind of fits all, if that makes sense? :D
I took a gamble and bought my Leshiy blind, having never handled or shouldered one, and it is certainly different to the run of the mill, standard rifle. The trigger takes some getting used to, and there is the option of the faux 2 stage mod.

I keep looking at the ‘Priest’ and the ‘Prophet’, and am liking it more and more, but as no RFD local to me has them, would be a gamble, hence the question, and looking at the pictures posted above, they are not too disimilar. :D

I am not looking at anything in particular, and will never part with my Leshiy, I am just, at the moment, trying to resist scratching an itch...

The cocking bolt / lever,.... priest / prophet,.....

Can it be swapped to the right hand side?

The cocking bolt is left hand / side only. Idea being that as a right handed shooter shooting prone or bench you can cock with left hand whilst still aiming the gun. The mag can be loaded from left of right though

I did the same and bought the Leshiy blind. The only way to rid yourself of temptation is to yield to it
Never regretted it for a split second :D

I'd say that the Prophet or the Priest are the perfect compliment to the Goblin. Both (brands) are a tinkerers delight, highly customisable and engineered to the highest standards. If you like that sort of thing the RTI's are right up your street. They're like really cool cousins from the old Eastern Bloc

Bob at City Air Weapons in Birmingham is the official importer. Very accommodating chap. I've even had help from RTI owner Mr Rob in Slovenia, personally answering my emails. I read that he sent some freebies to an AGF member who was struggling to find a part. How's that for customer service :thumb:

P.S. I really like the faux 2 stage mod on the Goblin

Indeed. As a rightie I now actually prefer having the lever on the left. Seems common sense and like you say you're still aiming while reloading.

It's really a non issue @psycho inside and you'll get to like it in no time :thumb:

My mags are the new type which are centred so they just move out of the way for right or left handers.

I know the mag is loaded from either side, :thumb: but as a lefty shooter, prefer the bolt / lever on the right, so dont have to remove hand from the grip. :D

Hence the question mate, I am a south paw, and like my bolts / levers on the right for exact same reason. :D

Actually, now that you mention that your a leftie I'd pass on the Priest or Prophet if I were you :p Cocking from the left is far too much of a faff and you'll need your hand free to scratch that itch of yours :D
